The NRA sponsors annual contests for kids and young adults to nurture their interest in hunting, wildlife conservation, shooting and the Second Amendment. The Youth Essay Contest is a thought provoking writing contest held every year by the NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund and is open to students from kindergarten to their senior year of high school. The George Montgomery/NRA Youth Wildlife Art Contest offers young artists interested in hunting and wildlife an outlet to use their creative talent to refine their wildlife identification skills through the creation of original works.
